Arriving by …
- From Italy, the route leads via Dobbiaco, continuing east towards Arnbach.
- If you’re arriving from Friuli, the most convenient way is via Tolmezzo and the border crossings near Villach.
- From the east, follow the Puster Valley from Lienz towards Italy.
- From Innsbruck, travel via the Brenner Pass to Fortezza, then continue into the Puster Valley and on to Arnbach.
- From Germany, you can also come via the Brenner — or take the more relaxed route via Salzburg, then south towards Lienz.
- In Arnbach: around 400 metres past the “Platzhirsch” snack bar (when arriving from the west) or 500 metres after the “Hofer” supermarket (from the east), turn off across the small bridge, follow the road for about 100 metres — and you’ve arrived.
- The Arnbach train stop is just 500 metres from the chalets — ideal for a relaxed arrival without a car.
- Regular bus connections run between Sillian and San Candido — approximately every hour.
